Hello and welcome! I am on a mission to support creativity in all aspects of human development, applying the imagination in a constructive way that enhances communities, organizations and encourages creative people to pursue their highest endeavors in their personal and professional lives.
I am a leading coach, facilitator and specialist who uses creative practices, coaching models and contemporary research in psychology to create profound purpose and direction for my clients and students. I work one-on-one and in group settings as a coach to creative professionals. I also develop innovative multi-week, arts integration programs for children, adolescents and professional development for teachers, nonprofit and for-profit organizations on creative process, collaboration and enhanced communication.
I am a Certified Personal Development Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, an undergraduate of the University of CA at Santa Cruz. I hold a MA in Psychology, specialization creativity studies, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook University. I also hold a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). This means that I have worked with over 500 coaching clients and have a standard of training and ethical education to work with a diverse, international community.
My research interests include creativity in human development and learning, flow and blocks to creative process, the state of work-life balance for creative professionals, the arts influence on innovation and economy, imagination in human consciousness, the multiple dimensions of self in personality and their pertinence to mental health.
